Jim Goetz is a Conservation Coach and an active member of the Conservation Coaches Network with extensive experience teaching and facilitating the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation. Since 2014, he has trained over 400 natural resource students and professionals to apply the principles and tools of the Conservation Standards to their conservation projects. In addition to online workshops, he has led in-person training workshops in a dozen countries in North and South American, and the Caribbean, in English, Spanish and Haitian Kreyòl.

Jim is passionate about helping conservation practitioners use their professional and life experience to apply the Conservation Standards in the areas they know best, to collaboratively develop, implement, and monitor more effective conservation actions, and to accelerate learning and positive conservation impact for ecosystems and species.
